Great feeling to get the nervous start out of the way.

Everything is looking good for my photoshoot in two short weeks time.....I am really excited....hoping that I learn a lot from this first time experience!!!

Drama.....Drama.....Drama (should be my middle name)!!!

So I have had some drama with my lace.

Silly silly me.....the lace that I had picked out was the wrong colour.....yes, it was cream and not white!! So after a design meeting/discussion which included myself, Rhea & Nat, we came to the agreement that I couldn’t possibly make the cream lace work.

Plan B = Buying another lace, which is the same design (but white...YAY!!), from NEW YORK!! Yes...the Big Apple......maybe I can pop over and pick it up personally????

'My Secret Garden'

Concept –

My final range is based around ‘A Secret Garden’. A young girl’s fantasy world of her future, revolving around the garden. Each outfit is in reference to an event or story that is taken place in the garden and are titled:

Unearth

Sunshine Soaking

Garden Party

Picnic Date

Late Night Walk

Proposal

I want my designs to:

Depict romance

Have an innocence or childlike quality (e.g. – Dress up’s, playful)

Create interest with trims and decorative effects

Have a matte finish with hints of satin lustre

Have flow and movement

Use layered effects
